During the recent board meeting of June 5, 2025, the board of directors addressed the concerns of the members regarding their financial well being.  It was decided that to assist our membership during these difficult times, a motion was carried to pay out 50% of the Owners and Broodmare bonus at this time.  

Please note, in order to receive an HRBC bonus incentive, you must be a member in good standing with HRBC.  This includes having  all debts paid in full prior to receiving a BC Bonus Incentive cheque. In addition, per the HRBC Membership Application, in order to receive incentives, the member must be a paid-up member in good standing at the time in which the horse raced

HRBC has been informed by GC that members have a 24 hour window to have all belongings removed from the barns. If items are not removed, GC will remove.

Anyone planning to come to court tomorrow must arrive in the backstretch and be ready to leave by 8:00 am sharp. Please note that a bus was not possible to secure therefore we will be carpooling.  Please be prepared to have the court session pushed to Thursday, May 29th.

Proceedings for tomorrow are a viewing only; all attendees must be respectable to the presiding Judge and both sides (plaintiffs and defendants).  Any outbursts, comments are shown as disrespectable to the Judge.

When visiting a courtroom, you should:

·       enter and leave quietly, (do not disrupt proceedings)

·       bow your head to the judge when you enter and before you leave

·       stand and bow your head when a judge enters or leaves the courtroom

·       dress appropriately (no hats or sunglasses)

·       avoid talking and eating

·       turn off mobile phones and other electronic devices
