On Tuesday, December 14, 2022, Harness Racing BC Board of Directors met to discuss the financial hardships resulting from the cancellation of races in December.
With much discussion, a decision was made to assist our members during this difficult time as stated below:
MOTION PASSED:
• To pay the horses that were entered to go on December 4, 2022, race 3 thru 9 the sum of $100.00 per horse; excluding scratched horses from the races 3 thru 9 on December 4, 2022.
• To pay the horses that are to be entered to go the first two days of racing in February 2023 the sum of $500.00; excluding scratched horses.

REMINDER: December 31, 2022 Deadline

• Membership Dues for 2023 are due and payable by December 31, 2022.  Please note that in order to receive purse cheques or incentives from HRBC you must be a paid up member in good standing.
• All BC New Foal Incentive applications must be submitted to the office no later than December 31^st (year of foaling) in order to receive the BC New Foal Incentive payment of $1,500 for the 2022 foal.
