After the AGM last Thursday, June 23, 2022, the newly elected Board met to vote in the new Executive Board. The following are the executive electees for the 2022 – 2023 period,

President – Kelly MacMillan 

Vice President – Randy Rutledge

Secretary Treasurer – Lynda Atkinson

Please be reminded these are volunteer positions, and as do board members, they dedicate a lot of their personnel time in meetings and at home working in the best interest of the sport. As was discussed last Thursday evening, if you have ideas or suggestions please forward them via email to HRBC.

Here are the Results of the Election for Directors on the Board of Harness Racing B.C. Society.
123 Votes were counted and verified by Garry Woods (Judge), Timothy Storms (GPEB), along with Diane Pennington (Returning Officer), Nigel Holmes, Nichelle Milner, Barbara Chadwick (acting on behalf of Jerome Bouvier). A total of 2 ballots notes as “spoiled.” On behalf of HRBC, congratulations to the newly elected directors and a thank you for those nominees that were not elected.

Attention: Breeders & Owners,

Harness Racing BC is pleased to announce that the 2022 Yearling Sale will be live and held in the Agriplex Building, Cloverdale Fairgrounds. In addition, there will be a Sale Stake (to be raced at 3 years old) offered for all yearling participants that go through the ring or use the exception fee.  

At this point, we are looking for numbers of horses so if you are thinking of entering, please contact the HRBC office before June 9^th.  Further information will follow as we move forward.
