Please be advised that the Broodmare Bonus cheques are available for pick up in the office as of today, Monday, June 21, 2021. The cheque represents 50% of the total that is owed with the balance coming in the next few months, when funds are available.  All out of town cheques with backup will be mailed and if there any special requirements for pickup or mailing please advise the office. We will advise in the next few days with regards to the status of the BC Bred bonus cheques.

Please be advised that licensed owners with horses currently stabled at the track will once again be allowed to access the backstretch, effective Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Please advise the HRBC office, in advance, of any owners wishing to enter the barn area so names can be added to a control list. All current Covid protocols will still be in place with masks, social distancing while onsite. Your cooperation is appreciated with this endeavor to ensure the smooth transition for the owners return. 

On Wednesday, May 11, 2021 the AGM was held online virtually via Zoom. The old Board was acknowledged and thanked for all their efforts during very difficult times created by the Covid pandemic. The new Board was introduced and welcomed, challenging times lay ahead and we can only hope for a return to normal times in the not too distant future. After the AGM the Board convened in a meeting to elect the new Executive Board. The following Board members were elected as follows:

The Executive is a very willing group of individuals who are donating their time and efforts to help promote and work in the best interest of standardbred racing in BC.
