This is official notice of our upcoming AGM for Harness Racing BC Society to be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 5:00 pm via Zoom Video Conference. Please find attached Notice of AGM and Nomination Form for Elections.

Please note that only Active Members in good standing can vote at the AGM.  To be in good standing, you must have paid your 2021 membership dues. You must renew for 2021 no later than April 12, 2021 or you will not be able to vote at the AGM.  Renewals will not be accepted past April 12, 2021 or at the AGM.

To ensure your horses won’t be scratched would you please all double check that all your licensing is current and up to date. Please allow adequate time for processing and please note that GPEB only accepts cash, money orders or cheques (payable to “Minister of Finance”)

Please be advised that On Track Media will be conducting a tethered drone test on Friday, March 19, 2021. The test will take place in the infield, at the centre of the west turn, and will be setting up at approximately 5:00 PM. While they are conducting this test the drone will be tethered at a length that will not exceed the distance from the drone base station to interfere with the racing surface. After the infield test, part way through the races, the drone will be moved to an area in the parking lot close to the back tower on the west side.

We have been assured by On Track Media that maximum safety measures will be applied for this test.
